Antique Sprung Armchair, stamped and labelled.

An extremely rare and beautiful Waring and Gillows Armchair.

A739 stamped into the left back leg and The Waring and Gillows lable on the inner back right leg.

Beautiful turned front legs all stood on four brass and brown porcelain castors.

The frame is well made and very solid, no movement.

It has its original fabric and sprung seat that sags down in the middle.

Obviously the arms and seat are warn and ripped as you will see from my pictures.

A stunning shape and design.

This stunning chair came from an elderly couple in the Lake District.

They had had it for many years, sold in original as found condition.
