A very pretty Vintage Wardrobe, painted in the lovely Farrow & Ball paint, I have used 'Great White' which is my favourite shade for Bedroom Furniture, it is a bright, fresh off-White with a warm aged tone to it, so gives a lovely Vintage look to the Furniture and a relaxed feel in a Bedroom. I have distressed around edges/hinges, where a little wear may occur over time to compliment the Vintage look and then waxed for future protection.
The Wardrobe has such a pretty shape with an arched central Mirrored door that has an ornate applique moulding to the top and long central bevelled Mirror. The Mirror is in very good condition for age, there are just a couple of feint scratches at the very top near the arched moulding, that barely notice, only upon close inspection and there are no real signs of ageing such as spots or silvering. The fixed side panels have beautiful Floral Ribbon applique detail. Below there is a nice deep, wide Drawer for extra storage.
Inside there is a full width hanging rail, for maximum hanging space and all fully painted in an Antique Grey shade so fully refreshed for your Clothes, at 17" deep should fir a ladies hanger, but not suitable for the wider male style hangers, a wider hanger may have to sit at a slight angle to fit, do check the width is suitable, perfect for Children's Clothes too, or as a guest Wardrobe.
All stands on sweet little legs.
The top lifts off the base for easier transportation and if stairs were a problem the main body can be split down the centre, by unscrewing the top and bottom panels inside, that join the two halves (pictured). Quite easy to do.
I have other Vintage painted pieces, all painted in the same shade 'Great White', making it possible to create a beautiful Bedroom set of your choice, I have Dressing Tables, Drawers, Bedsides and Blanket box's, some shown in pic as example of how pretty they look when grouped together as a set.
