Vintage Antique Single Capitone French Bed Upholstered Original, with painted woodwork upholstered side rails ,head and footboard. Mid twentieth century. It is very pretty, feminine and would suit any young woman or girl's bedroom. It is in excellent condition but does show the signs of its use and age. We bought this bed in France at a market and it had a new base and mattress. it has been a great success in our household with our girls but now as we are moving to a smaller place we'll have no room for it. Unfortunately the mattress was soiled by visiting children and is not offered as part of the sale. A standard single mattress fits it well. (as in photo).  The bed breaks down into bed end, bed head, side rails and base.The price includes a £60 shipping cost but is flexible depending on where it is going.  (i.e. it could be more or less) than £60. If the bed is collected directly by the buyer then the shipping fee will be waived. There is a stain (not removable) on one of the upholstered side rails ( see photo). Once sold return is NOT acceptable.
