Genuine Victorian knockdown wardrobe, comes apart into 7 manageable pieces that make up the main structure plus the 2 generous drawers.
Possibly made of pine - light in finish. I applied Wood Silk a few years back when it was new to us and it still presents very well. Some signs of historic woodworm in places - this has all been treated. Original iron hardware where the sections interlock together.
There’s some slight damage on the right had side towards the back - I can only presume a previous owner missed a screw and pulled the side off in haste. Never bothered me as the wardrobe lived up against a wall.
Comes with 1 key to operate the lock. Internal latches top&bottom lock the left hand door. Internal clothes rail and high up shelf included. It came to us with some ply shelves in hence the battens - these are only pinned in and easily removed.
We managed to build this in our top bedroom (up some narrow cottage style Victorian staircases) with no problem.
You only need a few centimetres clearance in order to place the top section on so lower ceilings shouldn’t be a problem.
We’re in Margate but I occasionally work in London so delivery en route is an option if the timing works.
Cash on collection / bank transfer preferred.
