Victorian Brass and Iron Standard Double ( 4 feet 6 wide ) Bed & pine Base

This is a lovely Victorian brass and iron standard double bed ( 4ft 6" wide ) the bed is a real recycle job as each end is from separate beds ! they match well and the brass is from matching bed ends, the bed is a good weight. The brass has been left in original condition but could be polished with ease as the brass is good quality but doeshave a few minor dings and dents, as shown, the porcelain ( blue parts ) is in pretty good nick also.The base is a later addition but is ideal as it lifts off for transport and, the rest comes in sections .The bed does have a few marks and tiny dings but really looks the part, itis in part over 100 years old so please remember it will not be perfect but is very tidy.The base is a strong pine one.The bed is ready for use and looks very nice.Dimensions Height at the head end is 56", the foot is 49" and the side rails from the ground are 17" inc the base the bed is a standard double width 54" and 76" long.We can deliver so please message me ( Steve ) for a quote, we cover most local ones but we have great couriers who cover large parts of England and some parts of Wales for £80 or a little more for more out of the way places.This can take up to 14 days.
