Victorian Gothic 1860 Solid Oak Carved Hall or Window Seat.

A lovely mid Victorian gothic hall or window seat in oak. Carved in the Elizabethan style, the rectangular seat with carved edge and with fluted cylindrical bobbin turned ends over a frieze with bold egg and dart carving, over boldly carved supports on bun feet, and with plainer supports to the rear carved with leaves and on plinth bases. English circa 1860.

A lovey looking piece.

It does have a few signs of old restoration underneath and may show signs of wear due to age and use, which you would expect but does not detract in any way.
