Cast Iron Terrace Garden GateA Great heavy cast iron garden Gate with an authentic cast iron look.Measures approx max 117 cm from top finial to base pivot 80 cm wide approx 34 kg.Once the bracket and pivot is fitted it will be comfortable inside a 90 cm or 3 ft gap with space. We give you a pivot and base plate, bracket for the top and a basic latch free with every gate, (see images).Supplied primed and base black coat of paint but final painting will be after the customer has installed. Transport and installation will create rub marks and scuffs in transport and is to be expected.Customers will need to to be aware we are selling these per gate and they are sold un fettled and may need some areas cleaning up if you will be looking closely at the casting (this is up to the individual as to improve them or not). Cast iron is very durable and provides a authentic 19th century look to your property. These are being sold unfettled which is acceptable to most but some customers might want to put some work into tidying rough areas but this is as we sell them and is bought under that condition. Casting iron is a difficult process and some mouldings may not be classed as perfect but i would find them acceptable for the decorative use as a front gate so please be aware before purchase. Sorry to make them sound bad but i can find something wrong in anything you put in front of me so i tend to be critical as possible for customers with high expectations. You are welcome to collect your eBay purchases from our showroom. However, please do call us first as we want to ensure that you can receive our full attention.You will need your paypal receipt and a form of ID, such as a drivers licence.
Please note we are a retail outlet and are open 6 days per week.
Dispatches
Our last dispatches during the week are on Fridays if received before 10.00 am.
Orders received after that will be dispatched on Mondays.
Please note that there are no dispatches or deliveries during the weekend or on bank holidays.
If you need your order dispatched urgently, please contact us between 10 - 4 pm to discuss options.
Courier Service
You will receive a text or an email from the courier company informing you when your parcel will arrive.
With this service you can authorise the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place – at your own risk.
If no-one is in to receive your parcel a re delivery will be attempted. It is your responsibility to be in to receive your goods.
When attempts have been made to deliver your parcel and you are not in, a re delivery charge will be incurred.
Haulage Company
Larger items will be delivered by a haulage company on a pallet service, which will be delivered to the road side by tail lift.
Sub-contractor drivers are used and are not obliged to carry anything off the pallet or carry items onto your property.
The haulage company will contact you directly to agree a delivery date with you.
It is your responsibility to be in to receive, check and sign for your goods. Goods MUST be checked in front of the driver immediately and sign for ‘in good condition’. This is your opportunity to ensure you are happy with your order.
If there is an issue please call us before returning any goods.
Note the signature will void a later claim for Damage in Transit so it is vital you check your goods right way before signing.
Very Important
You MUST be in to receive your goods on the date agreed with the haulage company. If you are not in, you will incur a re delivery fee for the haulage company to re deliver your goods on a specified and agreed day.
International Buyers
If applicable, international buyers are responsible for the tax and duty in connection with any purchases, please check with the relevant authority in your country.
Surcharges
Highlands, Isles, N. Ireland and remote locations around the UK, may incur a surcharge.
Due to the complexities of transport company’s own delivery rates, this payment will be requested after your purchase as we will not know the surcharge cost prior to your purchase. If in doubt please call us.

Returns
If the item is not required, you can of course send it back, but please let us know straight away before sending so we can look out for the package.
Please ensure that the item is packed in its original packaging, is well sealed including the original paperwork or order number.
Returns must be sent via a courier with valid insurance.
