A lovely old sideboard which has had its doors removed due to a cracked door. A copper rail has been used with brass ends and a red and white striped curtain (not professionally made) is in its place. The brass ends are only sitting in place and can be removed easily.
The curtain slides well on the hooks. The height of curtain can be slightly changed using the hooks. One end of the curtain has a tack stitch so you can open the sewing and use the pulls on the curtain to make it tighter or looser, or leave as is.
There are 2 shelves inside one deeper than the other and they can be removed. The cupboard has been sealed with a clear bees wax.
- Holes left where hinges have been removed
- Curtain works well but isn’t perfectly straight at bottom, not very obvious but like to flag anyway
- An old item so has the expected wear and tear marks
Internal shelf depth 33cm & 24cm
It will be transported with the curtain removed and packed with the shelves. Assembly required to hook the curtain back onto the rail (very simple).
Please note, as with any restored item of furniture, you may find some nicks or dents to the woodwork. This is to be expected and we feel only adds to the charm and appeal of the style.
Please review photos carefully as they form part of the description.
Beeswax, according to many factors shouldn’t be allowed to stay wet, surface should be wiped down if in contact with water
