Beautifully ornate dark wood sideboard with in tact mirrors and carving detail on cupboard doors and end caps. Suspected turn of 19th century.Base section houses 3 drawers, 2 side cupboards, open shelf with half cupboard on top.Locks and slide bolts all in excellent working order with a smooth turn or glide motion. Key present to lock small cupboard section. In general truly excellent condition but does have 2 light varnish stains which seems like it is easily removable. Base main area has a shallow crack that has no influence on function and is not visibly overwhelmingly intrusive. Please see pictures provided.Base and top section comes apart to make transport easier. Base breaks down into roughly 49cm deep, 150cm wide and 94cm tall.Top section is roughly 20cm deep, 122cm tall from the base unit top to the apex and about 150cm long.Top section has very ornate carvings and end caps with 4 intact mirrors. Mirrors seem to be original, as they have an antique patina and some shallow beveling on the sides. Overall a very impressive item of furniture that would make and excellent focal point in a larger dining room.Selling somewhat reluctantly as space is an issue.
