Rare Vintage Bentwood Stool In Alva Aalto Style Originally designed 1930's

This rare and iconic vintage bentwood stool was purchased by me in the mid 1970s from Conran's original Habitat. It is a beautiful and unique piece of furniture, perfect for any collector or lover of antique items. It is fully assembled and made of beech wood with a beige colour finish, resembling the style of Alva Aalto's designs from the 1930s.

The orignial stool 60 was design in the 1930's by a Finish designer, recognised for Aalto's functional style based round 4 legs using laminated bentwood to form the curve style. 

Seat diameter 32 cm, overall maximum width at widest point 40 cm, height 45 cm

Still as popular as it's original design. This is a vintage stool produced sometime in the possibly mid 20th century showing a nice patina - some signs of wear and tear but adding to it's character. An original from the 1930's would be £900 upwards.

Will be disassembled and boxed for dispatch by courier.
