It will take a king size 150 x 200 cms mattress. The actual width is 146 cms to the outside of the rails, this means a 150cms [UK King size] mattress will overhang slightly, but only by 20 mm each side. This won't be noticeable though.We've sold a lot of these beds over the years and we have never had any problems using a UK king size mattress on them. It comes complete with a very good quality Lattoflex type base. This base is in two halves and each half is fully adjustable,[see pictures] this is normal in France, it gives you the option of having two independently adjustable single mattresses on the bed, or a normal double mattress. The overall condition is good, and it's going to look just stunning in a French, inspired bedroom.
