The pasta bowls are slight factory seconds, new and unused with minor defects, blemishes and imperfections. Each bowl is marked with the Portmeirion Factory back stamp. There is a faint scratch / line through each back stamp which confirms they are factory second's.

An item is classified as a second where there is a marginal fault to the finish, the decoration or the shape. The fault is not structural, i.e. each piece still functions as intended and is usable.
