ITEM DESCRIPTIONA charming pair of antique Edwardian Arts and Crafts mahogany large single (3 foot 6) beds dating from circa 1905. In a richly figured mahogany, the beds feature elegantly dipped top rails above vertical slats flanked by square pilasters topped with flat cap finials. They have a Vono style frame which is easily assembled or dis-assembled. Good warm patina and colour to the frame. Comprising of two headboards, two footboards and four iron rails (no bases or mattress or included).Measuring approx. 107cm by 190cm, a wide single bed is the same length as a standard UK 3ft single bed, but 17cm/6 inch wider, giving a slightly roomier sleep.
