Mid-century Beautility Sideboard with Secret Cocktail Cabinet 

This superb Beautility sideboard is a classic piece of vintage retro design, we believe from the 1950s or 1960s. A real showstopper, but infinitely practical, it has a high-gloss wood effect finish with metal handle and detailing to the front edge. The sideboard has bi-folding doors at either side and a central hidden drinks / cocktail section that concertinas out to reveal a bar, with shelves at either side, a mirrored back and a work surface.The left-hand door opens to reveal a cupboard section with two drawers inside, the upper of which is a sectionalised cutlery drawer, and the right-hand door opens to reveal a cupboard section with one fixed wooden shelf inside.The piece retains its original maker's label on the inside of the central door. It is supported on square tapering legs with front to back stretchers. A gorgeous piece we love, and have enjoyed despite the minor visual imperfections, which would be easily fixed – sadly we no longer have space for in our new home. The piece is in used condition and requires some attention – with marks to the legs and formica missing around the top edge – see images. Would make a perfect upcycling project! It will require two people to lift, we are happy to help with loading the van at our end. Needs to be collected by March 29th.
