Large Antique Mahogany Sideboard c.1860

Imposing mid 19th.c. mahogany sideboard c.1860. Over seven feet long. Inverted breakfront top with a crossbanded edge over three drawers. Two door centre cupboard flanked with deeper cupboards to each side fitted with the original sliding shelves and bottle drawer inside. Striking design with little applied decoration save for the extravagantly shaped drawer and door fronts and the superb symmetrically arranged flame mahogany veneers used. Raised on conforming plinth with square (rather than moulded) edges to match the top. A few minor chips and repairs to the veneers, generally very good colour and condition. Cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
