Good standard double walnut bed c. 1950s elegant simple design with sprung base.

This is a clean standard double bed. It dates to the 1950s and is made in walnut. The bed has a simple unfussy design with Greek key details and figured walnut head and footboard standing on tapering legs terminating on original brass casters.

The bed is a standard double and comes with its sprung base so all you will need is a standard double mattress 54 inches wide and 74/75 inches long.

The bed comes with its original brackets and is solid when built. It splits for moving.

The bed is in good vintage condition.  Odd scuff from use as you would expect in a vintage piece but no faults worth highlighting.
