This is a G Plan 'Brandon' headboard in oak from the 1950's.

The headboard is constructed as a heavy oak frame and the face is veneered with matched leaves of medullary grained oak, edged with a solid oak and flanked by two shelves supported by turned spindles. The headboard is factory pre-drilled beneath the shelves to facilitate the attachment of 'Brandon' bedside cabinets.

Condition, is good, no repairs, original finish, clean.
