A stunning statement piece 'French bed', with a fantastic Rose Pink Velour type fabric and desirable shape. Important Details;c Mid 20th century - Sourced and imported from France.Constructed from oak having been restored and re polished. Structurally - Fantastic condition with no wobbles, breaks or issues. In Perfect condition for another lifetime of use.Upholstery - Although this colour is superb and overall is in good condition (having had a deep clean), there is some natural and even fading in some places. This is where certain areas of the fabric will appear lighter in colour. This is common on lighter fabrics but in this case is very hard to notice.

Overall in superb condition with a highly restored frame finish. There maybe age related marks and imperfections in the wood/ polish due to its age and use over the years, which should be expected as this is not a new item, but in most cases are what make antique items of this type unique. We aim to photograph all our items in detail so that any age related imperfections can clearly be seen. A sympathetic polish, structural check and deep clean has been carried out retaining as much of the original condition and patina as possible.
