Beautiful vintage French cane double bed is in superb condition. The frame is in its 'as found' painted pale cream finish.With stylish shaped curves to the head and foot with decorative carved flowers and leaves and 'escargot' feet.The bed is in superb condition strong and sturdy condition with stylish shaped head and foot.The cane work is in excellent condition although part of the double canework has been removed inside the footboard by a previous owner possibly to accomodate a standard mattress - please check pictures.With just a few minor knocks and bumps in keeping with its age.
Measurements : will require a standard double mattress 135 x 190cm with rounded corners at the foot end - which we can supply.
