Antique reproduction Adam style mahogany sideboard

This is a high quality antique reproduction Adam style mahogany sideboard that has been in my family for over 50 years. My mother bought it as a reproduction in 1970 and now selling due to downsizing.

It is a really attractive piece of solidly made furniture.  In particular, the fluting and carving on the main drawer, plus the garland mouldings on the doors and fluted, tapered legs elevate the fineness of the piece.

There is also a brass upstand with finials, which can be removed along with the small plinth it stands on.

The piece is quite faded from sunlight, which is clear to see when you look at the images of the cupboard interiors, but nothing that couldn't be corrected if you wished to take it back to its original colour.

It measures 66" wide x 24" deep x 53.5" high including brass upstand (37" high without upstand)

The left hand drawer is divided into 3 generous sections.  There is a key for the door which locks

The middle cupboard has shelf.  There is a key for the door which locks

The right hand cupboard has a pull-out lead-lined bottom drawer divided into 3 compartments.  I believe this was so you could store ice in the compartments to keep your bottles of white wine cold.

There are a few surface scratches, marks and dents commensurate with its age, but nothing that detracts from its beauty.
