Antique Louis VI Style French Brass and Burl Walnut mirrored Wardrobe / Armoire

This gilded-brass mounted burl walnut and parcel-gilt armoire is in the Louis XVI style. This style is inspired by late 18th century French neo-classical designs. The cast or carved metal details appear to be of equal fine quality.This is a very large and roomy antique French armoire with three doors. The center door has leaf-cast frieze above its arched mirror and is flanked by paneled doors on eight foliate-cast squared baluster legs.The armoire has an arched center section with a beveled glass mirrored door, flanked by doors with burl walnut panels; the interior is fitted with drawers, shelves, and mirrors behind the burled doors; the entire wardrobe is with brass foliate borders and is supported by square tapered knobbed feet.The mirrored center section provides a rod to hang long garments as well as a bottom drawer for essentials. The two matched walnut doors have storage area as well designed shelves and drawers. Each door has a keyed lock, a mirror and a rod for hanging clothes.I do not know the exact circa nor the maker. I have enjoyed this wardrobe for 30 years. Great mirror for the bedroom!  I have moved it three times and once updated and replaced hundred and twenty  (circa 1900) year old original screws in each door hinge.  The pictures are helpful when assembling the many parts of the puzzle.  I guesstimate it weights close to 350 pounds. Therefore, the seller will select a freight company and make an appointment for packing and moving the armoire.
