Welcome to my auction for a Victorian mahogany Linen Press that has been converted to accommodate a hanging space and a chest of drawers below.

It has been professionally painted in 2 colours the outer colour is a grey / green called Hornblende and is from Paint and Paper Library the internal colour is Silent White from the Little Greene paint company.

I have tried to take as many pics as I can to show the flaws on something that is around 140 years old.

If you are looking for a perfect item please do not bid.

The right hand door is slightly bowed at the bottom and so sits about a centimetre proud of the other one.

The drawers are oak lined and in very good clean condition running smoothly and having strong bases.

The internal rail has been added as there would have been pull out shelves.

This comes in 3 Parts for transportation so you will need to assemble but it’s a bit like Lego - one piece fits on top of the next with ease .

They are great if you are short of space in a bedroom and want to accommodate a lot of clothes or need some storage for extras coats etc and maybe some linen in the drawers.

Whatever the case it’s a lovely thing with plenty of life left to serve serval more generations.
