On offer is a lovely large and heavy vintage earthenware serving platter by Keeling & Co with a British registration number for 1922.

The platter / meat plate  is oval in form with moss green transferrer pattern, called ‘Victoria’

Maker : Keeling & Co, Dale Hall Works, Longport, Burslem, Stoke on Trent (c.1886 - 1936)

Pattern : Victoria

Backstamp : Victoria / K & Co / Rd No 69165

Date : c.1920s

Condition

The plate is free from chips but it does have glaze crazing all over and brown staining to the glaze. There are also irregularities to the transferrer pattern as can be seen in the last photo

Please note that the item is vintage and does show signs of its age such as tarnish, surface wear, marks etc.
