 DESCRIPTION:This truly is a stunning antique Edwardian oak bracket clock. This is a superb clock made by the renowned makers LENZKIRCH, GERMANY, who made high quality clocks. A lovely feature is that the movement is quarter striking with a 'ting tang' strike. If you are looking for an exquisite clock, this one will surly fit the bill. The clock is in perfect working order having been professionally cleaned and serviced.

The case is made from oak which is a lovely colour. The top has a nice arched pediment. The door opens via a lock and key to access the dial. The dial is brass and beautifully etched with Roman Numerals with small Arabic numerals above, between the numerals is further beautifully etched. It is finished with a super pair of shaped fingers.  The four corners are adorned with floral spandrels and the arch contains the dial for the regulation namely the fast / slow for the clock and this has been flanked by spandrels.

The door is flanked by lovely columns, again nice attention to detail. There is fretted door to the rear lined in fabric, the door is opened by a catch. 

The case is in lovely condition, and has a lovely rich patina. 

The clock has recently been cleaned and serviced and as such the movement is clean as can be seen in the photographs and is happily ticking away and keeping good time. The clock chimes one 'ting tang' on the quarter past, two 'ting tangs' on the half past and three 'ting tangs' on the quarter to. Finally it then strikes the hours on the hour.

The movement is access via a door to the rear this has a lovely fretted panel which is lined in fabric. The movement is stamped with the LENZKIRCH trademark who made high quality clocks and the number '1 Million' and '635024'. In addition this clock comes complete with it's winding key and pendulum and the key which open the front door.

DIMENSIONSThe approximate MAXIMUM dimensions are:- 10 3/4 inches (27.5 cm) wide.- 7 3/4 inches (19.5 cm) deep.- 12 1/2 inches (32 cm) high.

AGE:The clock has a series number of 1 Million and 635024 which dates this to between 1909 and 1910.

CONDITION:The clock has recently been cleaned and serviced and as such the movement is clean as can be seen in the photographs and is happily ticking and chiming away and keeping good time.  The case is in lovely condition as can be seen from the photographs, just minor marks commensurate with age, the dial is also in good condition just odd age related marks.Please study photographs carefully as they form part of the description and condition, as what you view is exactly what you will receive.
