CONTINENTAL PINK WARDROBE

Pretty and feminine late 19th Century / Early 20th pine double wardrobe. Of continental origin, possibly French. Good size and practical with three adjustable shelves and a bottom drawer. It has brackets to hold a hanging rail, but a full size hanger will not fit, as the wardrobe is 43 cm wide inside. The drawer has a lock but no key. The door has a working lock and key. The key drops slightly when sitting in the lock, but this doesn't affect functionality. The wardrobe is in one piece, so access to first floor would have to be considered if for an upstairs room. It has been fully refurbished and is of very solid construction. It has been freshly painted in Annie Sloan chalk paint Antoinette, rubbed with dark and clear wax and distressed.

In good antique condition. Please expect some dents, marks and scuffs due to its age. The pictures are a true reflection of the item. This is a good very solid, rustic, well built piece and nothing that doesn't sit right with the character and age of this beautiful antique unit. Some signs of historic woodworm that have been treated as a matter of course. Practical and looks absolutely amazing.
