Late 19th.c. cast iron stick or umbrella stand by the Falkirk foundry c.1872. Beautiful elaborately cast and pierced back panel with Gothic pointed arch top. Shaped stick rail with canted corners supported on a central column over a sloping and decorated plinth with the original removable drip tray. Clear foundry marks on the rear (and underneath the drip tray) for Falkirk plus design serial numbers and a lozenge mark for 25th March 1872. Presented as found with some wear to the paintwork and a short split in the iron on the plinth.
