WHAT A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT!!! I have A beautiful Antique Full Size Brass Bed I've had since 1975. Purchased from a very well known Antique Dealer in Hillsboro Oregon. I was told it was originally used in a castle in Scotland and is now over 150 years old. Bed fits standard full size mattress 54" X 75". Head board measures 55" wide X 63" high and foot board is 55" wide X 41" high. Last appraisal was for $3895 in 1985. Solid brass tubing and all original except for side rails which I had to replace because I misplaced original. It has casters and place to put extra blankets. Has been in storage for last 35+ years wrapped in heavy cloth blankets & moving blankets. Needs to go to a good home that can appreciate the quality of a very old and beautiful piece of furniture. Have more pictures if needed.
