As with all tickets whether it be for football a music event or a theme park it is frowned upon to transfer tickets from one person to another and Alton Towers sometimes perform random Identity checks these are only done when a customer has there tickets scanned by a member of staff and not when the customer uses the automatic barriers therefore do not purchase these tickets if you can not use the automatic barriers because failure to do so could result in you not being admitted to the park.
