There is a small slither of wood missing from one edge of the cornice top rim, like the cornice has been put down heavy on the corner and its broken off, please see images. A Victorian Carved & Panelled Flame Mahogany Single Door Wardrobe

A Victorian carved and panelled mahogany and flame mahogany, single door wardrobe, raised over a drawer base. The wardrobe is made from mahogany and flame mahogany, which both have a rich colour and great grain patination. The wardrobe is formed with it being panelled across the front. It has six panels all are done in flame mahogany so have a great look to them. Across the centre of the wardrobe there is a Greek key carved band. It has a single central door. Inside the wardrobe it has a full length clothes rail and then various clothes pegs on the back of the wardrobe. The back of the wardrobe is panelled. The base of the wardrobe is set with a single full length storage drawer. To the top of the wardrobe it has a carved freeze, carved to look like waves. It then has the stepped cornice. The whole wardrobe is raised on small tapering square supports. The wardrobe splits into three sections for ease of moving. The wardrobe dates to around 1900.
