A Rare & Beautiful Mid Century Mahogany Double Wardrobe By AY Crown. C1950

A Rare & Beautiful 70 Year Old Mid Century Double Mahogany Wardrobe. Made in England during the middle of the 20th Century in around 1950 to a lovely standard by furniture maker AY Crown. With a moulded cornice with two arching panelled wardrobe doors with brass pull handles enclosing a fitted interior with shelf and hanging rail. All raised upon a moulded base with platform feet. Made to wonderful proportions, it would grace any room.

The mahogany has a lovely colour and patina created over the half century. A lovely piece of English history that’s overflowing with historic charm.
