A Rare & Beautiful 130 Year Old Late Victorian Antique Satinwood Wardrobe. C1890

A Lovely 130 Year Old Late Victorian Antique Carved Walnut Wardrobe. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria In around 1890 to a beautiful standard. With a moulded pediment with a deep frieze, above a central glass curtained panel flanked by a pair of wardrobe doors fitted with bevelled mirrors. The interior with hanging space and a long drawer to the base fitted with brass handles. All raised upon bracket feet. Made to wonderful proportions, it would grace any room.

The wood has a lovely colour and patina created over the last century. A beautiful piece of English history that’s overflowing with historic charm.

Lots of wear and tear to this wardrobe including a damaged pediment with missing sections, cracks and splits. The base drawer runs a little rough and the central glass panel with tartly but all in tact. The mirrors although covered for the photos are all in good condition.
